Thanks to some recent developments I am going to be departing JFK airport tomorrow en-route for Lome, Togo.
I'm concerned that my flight may well have problems which will leave me stranded in Paris and I will have to make my way to Lome by bicycle, boat, camel, Burro, Ferrari and finally bus. Sadly the bus will break down in Morocco and I'll have to resort to swimming...

Travel can, however, broaden your horizons.
Maybe your mugu could meet you part way - - say in Morocco? That would certainly shorten the distance you would have to walk.

I'm thinking so too! So far I'm slated to leave tomorrow evening, with the plane problems in Paris I'll wind up hoofing it to Marseille, then on down the coast to Almeria, catch the ferry to Melilla, hitch a ride to Rabat and then jump a charter plane to Monrovia, Liberia.
By that time I'll be completely fagged out but seeing as I'm bringing $20,000 cash with me I'm sure that he won't have a problem hauling his Laddish ass out West to meet up with me! |

Hope you have a hitch -free transaction, and there aren't any problems for your business associate. Like delayed or re-routed flights, or his going to the wrong hotels to meet you etc etc. That can be a bastard in those countries.
Morocco is a dangerous place for a westerner with a suitcase full of cash. I hope your associate doesn't get too worried. |

Thanks... I might be postponing my trip, Lad hasn't provided receipts showing that he's paid for the hotel for a week and for my Limousine from the airport... Lazy bass-tard! |

Just got off the phone having given him a thorough lambasting... I've given him a few hours to get me the receipts and said that I had no probs cancelling the entire trip if he's not able to send me the receipts between now and when my flight out of Idaho gets to NY... |

I've just boarded the flight to Paris (then on to Lome) I called him from "on the plane" but now I've run out of time on my prepaid calling card so he's having to make do with an email from the lounge.

Pics? Well... I'm holed up in Hotel Lotti in Paris, I met a nice fella on the plane last night and he sold me his car for pittance. (was kind enough to pose by it for me too before he walked back to his house) so I'm now a proud owner of an Enzo Ferrari and asking for advice about driving it to Lome for a vacation |
