Italy is a small place, but there are a lot of differences between names and moods from north to south! Nigerians know us very well because they live only a few hours of sea from here, so if you want to claim yourself to be italian, here is a small guide!
NORTH
People from north Italy always pretend to be rich (especially from Lombardia). The always appear to be god-like and they want respect for their condition of rich guys. Great workers, they always search for a way to get even richer in lecit (and illecit) ways. They are very pretentious.

CENTER
People from center Italy are of all kind. In Liguria they are extremely parsimonious, in Toscana (Tuscany) they are happy but diffident, in Lazio (especialy in Rome) they are lazy and like to offend for fun.

Neri (florence)
Alvaro (roma)
Augusto (roma)
Valerio (roma)
SOUTH
People from south are lazy and they like to cheat (especially from naples). In sicily they are diffident and sticked to tradition. If you want to be a thief, tell the lads you're from Napoli (naple) and if you want to be a mob, tell them you're from Palermo. There are a lot of sterotypes, I know, but we're done in this way

Nice one Martufello.
I worked in Italy (Milano and Torino mostly ) off and on for four years and you have the Lombardians down perfectly  I'm picking up a couple of lads with Italian IP addresses so I might just try and Italian modality as I learnt some excellent swear words from Milanese taxi drivers
