I have not yet watched it, but did read his blog about the trip.

I'm sure that most Romanians would be offended by it, as he basically insulted everything about them. I'll let you know what I think, after I've watched it.

Being Romanian, I might be biased.
I also saw it only on YouTube. There might be some parts missing.
But... Having the patience to follow the 1000+ posts on the blog...
I don't find it offensive. Just shallow, cliche and badly conceived. I thought the show was about food, not showing a drunk russian making an ass of himself.
Laughing That shows how important is to do your homework when you travel, and take a local as a guide.
