So I came across this site about 48 hours ago, set up my fake personality yesterday and signed 3 guest books. This morning I had two hits! This is the one I picked, IP addy puts him in Italy? Anyhow wish me luck and I'll keep you all posted on a noobs progress.
My name is ******* a citizen of Iraq and son of Ali Hassan al- Majid(Chemical Ali) who was condemed and approved for death by hanging.
There is this reasonable amount of funds which my father kept in Europe, now i have decided to invest it outside my country, because of my fathers current situation and also of my family security.
Please i want you to assist me in transfering the funds into your private accoun t for investment purposes.
Please if you can be of an assistance to me rep ly me to my private email addresses, ******@***.com.
On your reply i will update you more of the funds.
Yours Faithfully,
****************
My Reply:
I have received your message and am very interested in offering assistance. I am well aware that your father has a very limited amount of time left and can appreciate the urgency of your message. Please reply to this message and provide me with as much detail as possible. |

That seems like a good reply, but a little long winded for a first response.
You could have just used the first sentence of your reply and it would have the same effect. I reckon most lads dont even read your first response, they just send thier second script out once they think you've bitten.
I tend to use the same script for most lads, which is a variant of "Im interested, tell me more"
However you have avoided the mistake alot of new people (myself included) tend to make, that is creating an elaborate backstory in your first email. That is just a waste of time. Get your lad hooked and then you can start with the crazy modalities.
As always dont be afraid to ask for help! |

That's a good start Batterman, never work harder than the lads. And by the way, that is a truly awesome avatar, I worship that man. |

Great start. Kept it short and simple, they hardly ever read the first reply back.
I love your avatar too, great movie. |

Please reply to this message and provide me with as much detail as possible. |
Regarding that last sentence, I would just say something simple like "I wait to here from you shortly so I can assist you further". Asking the lad "for as much detail as possible" may spook him into thinking you are too high maintenance. There again, he probably won't do more than scan your reply and then send out letter [2] from his lads handbook of scamming.
Welcome to Eater BTW. |

So that bait hasn't hit me back yet but my second reply to one (yes I have two on the go) was simply, "I would lobe to help but due to the new pasports I can't send you a scan". That lad replied right away asking for a drivers license. I have a cool create your own McLovin license template (from Superbad) that I may send, not sure though because they may try and use it themselves! |

Good thinking to refrain from sending something they could recycle, because they will use it on a real victim. Sending a junk file is one possibility (name it as a .jpg).
Negotiate what else you could send. Ignore the request over and over while talking about money. Keep them busy, it is YOUR bait. I like to envision a puppy chasing it's tail... |

Photobucket works well for most of us
use the img link
make sure your pics are less than 600 on a side
you can use this to resize
http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm
check custom in the centre of the left panel, select any size less than 600 wide,
then save and post in photobucket, then upload the img link double click, and paste
