Thx for the hints.
She's not in the UK yet, she's supposed to be in Russia still.
Since she says she's coming over to UK this month i guess she'll have some problems with her visa or passport which require some cash from my part....
I'll try to post pix.

I've seen this a few times. It works exactly the same way as the standard vlad scam, but cuts right to the chase. Post up the emails and the headers for all to see (inclusing the Google bots)

Nope I'm a lousy vlad baiter, tried it a few times, but they just bleed to an end where the poor lad is going to check for his money till he drops, but.........

^^^ The only mistakes to make with Vlads is to push them. Expect 2-3 months of crap, it may well be a bot your talking to.

As long as you play the love lost puppy long enough they "?" will eventually start to respond. They love middle aged men with some disposable income. Don't be greedy wine about your ex wife and how much you have to send her. Then it's ok as the kids are at private school etc.

the norms are
Money for Visa.
Money travel to get Visa - Russia must be a cess pit from what they say.
Have to travel 700 miles to get a visa Smile

Translation fees ( looks like this one won't be using that)

Scary thing about this is that the VISA situation in former USSR is really as crappy as they make it sound.
My wife is from Ukraine, took us 2 years and most of our savings to get things sorted out, the legal way. And she was a manager in an american company over there. Her father is ex-airforce colonel. Shos she knew her way around. Imagine poor Olga from the kolchose trying to get a passport, visa, driving liscence,the necessary stamps from just every ministry conceivable, translations, stamps on translations. And the bribes, there's always the bribes... In the end my wife just gave up on trying to obtain a legal driving liscence. She went to the guy in charge on the army base, paid him for a "real" fake liscence, and exchanged it later over here for a valid european one. No harm done.
After 2 years, with the wedding planned, hundreds of emails and registered letters to embassies and consulates, it still took a personal lettter from the mayor of my hometown (who i luckily happen to know personally) to the consulate to get her over here in time with 2 days to spare... That's what happens when you try to do things the legal way.
BUT ANIWAY, that's no excuse for the vlads to milk innocent lonely europeans is it ? Wink

Knowing the system over there sure gives me an edge!
If you would like to know more about the official procedures over there, feel free to ask.
In the meantime i will continue baiting the "Russian models".

Oh, i don't know if you need the warning, but this forum tries not to educate the scammers. It can be VERY hard not to slap the hell out of them for the stupid things they say, and the things they get wrong, but it's best if you don't.

We want them to sound as unconvincing as possible.

@Andrey, you have been given some good advice already so I wont confuse you with more right now.
