UB is a very elite scammer. One story says he's an ex Russian Special Agent; others say he is a very savvy Nigerian. Apparently he found it much more lucrative to 'chop' the dollar from other scammers, rather than scam on his own.
He generally leaves baiters alone unless they get in his way.
As for the name Axeman, all I can say is I've seen some pictures...
