The bulk of mails I get with a single initial in the sender's name tend to be spam, at least in my case.
I occasionally get ones like Hacker's if the spammer screwed up and his graphic didn't get included. |

And there's no malformed image tags or anything. There doesn't seem to be an IP anywhere in the header- not a client IP anyway. |

check the headers for a return to mail.
maybe he has spoofed the mail addy and most probably its a test to see if the account is live. |

Return-to address is the same as sent-from. My reply didn't bounce. I haven't gotten anything from any mugus I'm not already baiting, either.
