A family member just mailed me a pound of 8 year old cheddar cheese made here... http://www.northhendrenbluecheese.com/ It is pure heaven! (They also make a kick ass Blue Cheese)
I know how we all love cheese threads, please order some from this small co-op. The local farmers will thank you.

I believe they do, and they are so fresh they "squeak" when you eat them. (Cheese curd lovers will understand that)
I have no finical interest in the place, but it is located near where I grew up, and it is sad to see quality producers of good stuff go under, when the mega-corporations, that produce crap, pass it off as the real thing. This joint is the real deal.

Mmm, cheese, usually the older the better. Stilton with crackers and fruit, Parmesan, Cheddar, roulade, Boursin, Port Salut, bring it all on. It's wonderful stuff. |
