I received a phone call yesterday that my son (not the member here) had OD'd on prescription meds. He has a long history of abusing these meds. He was rushed to the hospital where he actually died in the ER, but they revived him. He is in intensive care right now, and if he recovers enough, they will move him to a ward that cares for patients like him. I would ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We are very hopeful that he will get the help he needs now. I never knew being a Dad could be so tough............. |

I hope he recovers quickly and gets the help he needs. This is horrible. I had an aunt who did this many times, and she finally mixed her meds with methadone. That was her last OD. We now visit her grave. I hope that your son can find the strength to get over this addiction. If you can - lock him up and don't let him out. |
