Here is a copy of an insurance certificate claiming this man had belongings totalling $2.2 million, once Maureen sends the 50.000 pounds the belongings will be forwarded to her.

Guys i would like to ask a question, i tried to find the answer but came up with nothing, after reading a few letters in the letters archives i noticed that a scambaiter ( shiver me timbers) had various objects sent to him, ie carvings/paintings, how did he do this without giving away his address?

This thread is now going all over the place.

Welsh boy started off by telling us the tale of his client and friend who has been scammed.
Slowfreddie throws in a couple of curved balls asking "would it be in order for us to have the addies and phone" and then asking if a "a safari expert could have him (the scammer) travel".

Welsh boy; I presume that your friend now knows that this is a scam and has either stopped all correspondence or, at the very least, understands that any money she lays out will be lost forever.
I trust that she knows that the likelihood of recovering any money she has already laid out is approximately zero.
The same goes for the likelihood of the police taking any successful action.
Here, on 419Eater, we generally bait scammers and make their life difficult.
Recovering lost funds is unheard of. Arrests of scammers are few and far between.
If you, or your friend the victim, need advice than please feel free to ask for it. Advice and sympathy is readily supplied here. Alternatively, you could advise your victim to visit http://www.scamwarners.com/ as she is obviously internet savvy.

The only other thing that can be achieved is for us here to annoy the scammer by baiting him. For that to happen we will need copies of his emails. That will, however, only provide amusement for some but not gain anything back for your victim.

I can't really see any harm in letting us have at this lad. If there is an investigation underway, as BB said, it probably won't amount to anything. In any case, a few baiters mulling about never hurt anything. Very Happy
