The scam Email was like any other. The response wasnt...

Got this Ucking Fidiot on the hook for several Emails, then told him I couldnt deal directly with him as I didnt know him. We needed an intermediary. (make them jump thru hoops!)

i chose the US Embassy in Coite d Ivory and promised to send a letter there containing all my personal info. Of course, I wasnt stupid enough to do so.

Two weeks went by and ol' Schmuck writes that I hadnt sent the letter. So that proves he went to the Embassy.

I wrote and called the Embassy. The end of that one.

Someone wanna run with it? Its a hook that worked.

That doesn't prove anything. He could just be saying that. They do that all the time. Oh, and welcome.

Yeah, not sure of the "hook that worked" -- the lad was just waiting for you to send him a copy of the letter.

Are you saying that someone inside the Embassy staff actually told you that your lad turned up at the place and checked if your letter had arrived?
