Look - when I hear about what the hospital's doing, I wonder what happened to that gorram National Health Service you Brits are supposed to be so proud about. It used to be that anyone could get the best treatment, rich or poor - now it seems like America! I love my country, but the health system sucks, believe me, and now Britain's caught that disease from what you've said! When the doctors can demand cash on the nail before they'll treat someone who's apparently terminally ill, that's just heartbreaking even from here. |
This was his reply:

Malcolm it is heartbreaking to note the urge by these political entities to cling to unworkable and discredited policies is the stuff of legend . Socialized health care systems typically address the best interests of the state rather than the individual, The British prescription for health care continues to be typified by the phrase "Take A Seat." There is a remarkable smugness among a population which readily accepts the notorious British National Health Service waiting lists for necessary hospital treatment. The British Health Service continues to announce that the official list of those waiting for care is shrinking. This is simply not so; what has happened is that waiting lists to get on waiting lists have been created. After waiting to be seen by a family physician a British patient incapacitated with a spine problem may have to linger for more than a year to see a specialist. It is up to the specialist to determine the urgency of the case and to order any specialized tests. After the wait for the tests and the results (often a process of months) the next wait, of about a year, for surgery begins. Are things getting better? here exists in England today a sometimes uncaring, often unresponsive and typically disrespectful health care system. As the 20th century ended there were well over 1.12 million ever-suffering souls patiently waiting for needed hospitalization. This appears to be the price for "free care.
One usually gets what one pays for. There is no doubt, You Visit a Privately owned Hospitals, You must pay to the Last Penny on all medication administered , so you can see what I am passing through here at moment |
Then it was on to how nice a guy Mal is and how he'll do what he can...
And it seems that the Lad was cutting and pasting from the Burton Report (see http://www.burtonreport.com/InfHealthCare/BritNatHealthServ.htm). |

I don't know about the accuracy of his numbers, but this is one hell of an introspective-sounding mugu. Sure he might have copied it from somewhere else on the web, but it's rare to see a lad who will act so philosophical. Unless you count "don't worry about that just send the money transfer ok" as philosophy. And I'm sure he worked that in somewhere.
This guy appears to be more educated and convincing than the average lad IMHO. Bait the sumbitch until he bleeds. |
