Wow. Hard to imagine a Shiverless Eater. Good luck to Mr. Shiver in the next stage of his life. This is quite a community to have established, and his published baits are a hell of a legacy to aspire to equal.

Rover, I am sure you will do a fantastic job, and I look forward to being part of a community with you at the helm.

I assume that RL is taking up too much of Shiver's time?

I can understand it would be difficult to step down a peg within something you started - Banquo's ghost syndrome. Better to step out than step down, I suppose.

Still, I offer Rover my 100% support (for whatever that's really worth Very Happy

)

And I wish Shiver well - it was some of Shiver's baits in the letters archive that drew me here in the first place.

Rover, you are a top shelf person! You have really kept the ship keel side down. As with other issues, Shiver has done well by choosing (or drafting) you to handle the wheel in your capable hands.

After following the hard work of Rover, I have not doubts that our community is in great hands. I only hope the Shiver is only stepping down, and will continue to visit us on a regular basis if to do nothing other than to post up his next Monty Python skit or full size Death Star carving.

Edit- I just read the other thread and am really sad about all of this.
