"Lori V. Pearce" and "Elaine Q. Childs" have sent me this crap as well. I would love to get back at the perpetrators but I agree that it's just spam, the only thing we can do is report it to Spamcop, it takes only a few seconds.

When I get spam I just delete it.

419ers take thousands and thousands of pounds at a time from thousands and thousands of people. Spammers get you to try and look at a website that's selling some dodgy herbal viagra. I know where I'd rather target my efforts.

@ tocsin - if you really want to fight spam try CastleCops - they have many experts at it.
