A lad operating as a loan shark. I'm going to see if I can stiff him for 5 million dollars to play the market in very high risk investments. Laughing

He drives a hard bargain. But I've beat him down to a 1% repayment over 30 years on a 5 million loan.
I'll press for an interest free period too as a sign of how serious I am. Very Happy

Don't forget to ask lots of questions about your new loan.

-Is there negative amortization
- Any pre-payment penalties
- What about insurance for the loan
- Can you get the money in Yen

If he's answering quickly, that means he's not busy enough. That's a problem that you can help fix...

^ I'm still negotiating with him over the actual loan.
He tried to stick out for a rapacious 5% interest rate on the loan.
But I stuck to my guns and said it's 1% or no deal.
He backed down like I knew he would. Wink

But since the world markets took one hell of a beating last night,
I now need 50 million instead of 5 mil to pull off my audacious and very risky investment plan.
I told him I want that, and at the same terms as before.
He's thinking about it. Wink

Heh, he's currently in the process of signing away his life on my contract... Something along the lines of my character being able to do whatever he likes with the contract without the mugu's consent. Tisk tisk, I wonder if he will catch my flawed math...

@S13, 5% is outrageous. Even the mob will give you better rates than that.
Get tough, He'll back down. His "union and board of directives" are generous sorts. Laughing

I'll stick with a 5% interest rate if I end up paying back less than I borrowed... Pretty bad negotiator we've got on our hands. Well, he's awfully easy to persuade... I may be pretty new to this, but is this guy a fluffy kitten? He signed a contracting waving all legal rights and agreeing to a trophy picture without saying anything, and when he returned it his comments seemed to suggest that he read it through... Maybe he's just really stupid?
