Nigeria takes on tobacco giants
Nigeria's government is suing three international tobacco firms for $44bn (�22bn)

E-mails between tobacco firm employees to be shown to the court in the capital Abuja will reveal deliberate attempts to increase the number of "young and underage" smokers and attempts to influence lawmakers to keep tobacco sales unregulated, they say.

I think there right, smoking kills, i smoke but heh.
Loads of other countries have begun to sue them too, i think nigeria has a valid case good luck to them
As for lads, i think it will end up as generally
"hi ive got 4bn from the tobacco deal, in trunks cheques, cash," basically all the help me get it out of here scams - it would be fun to see some sort of new scam but i think they will just use the same ones. |

Take it easy man; stop spinning the story. The article is about tobacco companies delibrately selling cigaretes to kids. It is not uncommon for big tobacco companies to take advantage of kids in the third world. So hopefully this will be test case for other third world countries to follow. |

The U.S. gov't sued the big tobacco companies for the same thing a few years ago. |
