Sue S0ludo? Hell, YOU folks were the ones that didn't confirm! Instead of Soludo I would focus my anger on Dan. After all, Dan's the one that recommended Soludo so highly.

I haven't heard from ARK and the army either. Do you suppose it's possible that the army beat ARK up?

edit - frumpy, now that you're all happy in Monaco, why don't you invite Chucky and the rest of the gang to fly down to Monaco and conclude the nasty business concerning the barrister that scammed you. Chucky could offer to pick up Dan and the boys in his private jet and bring them with him (Too bad that Chucky can't land in Benin City, as they do not allow jets like Chucky's landing privilidges. Closest airport that Chucky can land in is Ghana).

This will also give Chucky a chance to get to know your lovely traveling companion. Maybe a romance will bloom? Monaco is a special place!

Invite the whole gang to Monaco. They won't come, but S0ludo will in his private jet. Heck, Chucky feels so bad about the whole affair that he will even pick them up and fly them there personally.

I am still amazed that in the entire time ARK was there he emailed the secretary once, and that was shortly after he received the first cancellation notice. Did he not check his emails, or did he elect to ignore the secretary? Or is he just that damn stupid? I think I know the answer.

I wonder where they spent the night. I love the thought of them going through the hotel, trying to find Chucky. I told the nitwits to use the secret west entrance, as Chucky likes to dine in peace. They can't follow simple directions?

Last time Dan went to Lagos, he ended up staying at a nearby Naval barracks, don't know how he found that.

He has no relatives there AFIK. If you send your lads to Benin City, bear in mind he told redshoes that his mum kicked him out from the address we have for him, he's at his cousin's now.

He's been quiet with me recently, he must still be 'brook'.

I'd really like for Dan to safari SOMEWHERE, as I can then have the washing machine delivered to his house. I'd love to convince him that his cousin signed for the machine and stole his money.

You know. S0ludo is very experienced in setting up oil and micro finance companies. You should really consider having him as your barrister in this case, as he can cut through a whole lot of red tape. Very Happy

Sitting up these companies is a very complicated matter.

What form is it that you need filled out? I'm sure we can work something out. Maybe ARK would be forced to fill out the anti-terrorist form, which requires tongue prints. Heck, S0ludo would be more than willing to pick ARK up at some small out of the way airport in his private plane and fly him out to meet with you. I think with S0ludos schedule he should be out there to refuel around 3:00 a.m.. Maybe we could all wing our way to Monaco and set this up.

I'm still upset that they declined my offer of prostitutes. That's just not good business.

To drop one sentence about the (rarely occurring, yet occurring) ethics:
This whole sport reminds me so much of deer hunting...you get to know the beast, you know it�s there, he knows you are there. You get to know as much about his life habits as you can, you come to respect him, then you kill him! The equivalent of killing being "make him lose interest in doing wannabe scams because they just aren�t worth it".

There is still much life in him. I thought this episode would have been the end. Seems we can make it through to his 40th b�day in March (plan of a birthday safari with my inheritance lawyer).
ARK is "ambitious", in a strange way. Dan reminds me more of a unreliable youth. I was so angry more than once about his readiness to promise things but then not keeping them. Then though he surpasses expectations. It took some weeks but I like him.

Regarding the bank account, this has been tried more than once, see this post .

I would love to continue to work with S0lud0. Frumpy would, that is. Pr1nz is having some prejudice against lawyers Smile

which can be used so that ARK would need to fulfill things that made us trust them again.

You know, for a guy that is so angry with S0ludo you think he would contact him. No word from either ARK or Dan on my end. Dan doesn't surprise me, as he is quite lazy, and probably too "brook" to get much in the way of internet time. But ARK does surprise me. You might want to urge him to get in touch with S0ludo's secretary.

I can go with whatever forms you want. The anti-terrorist form is a form to fill out to file with the state. This gives you clear status of not being a terrorist, and allows you many more opportunities without all of the legal paperwork.

I don't think offering to pick ARK up in S0ludo's private jet and flying him down to Monaco will burn the character. S0ludo flies in a very unique private plane that has been heavily customized, and this plane does not have landing privileges at any of the major airports in the area. S0ludo is only permitted to land at many of the smaller airports in the area. It's not S0ludo's fault that ARK will be unable to find the airport. Hell, I'll even stock the plane with prostitutes for him. Laughing

Dan is MIA. I don't know what happened to him. Maybe his cousin kicked him out of the house and he's living on the streets. He hasn't even checked on his shipment of money in awhile.

We'll hear from Dan later, I'm sure. I'm also sure he'll have some sob story about why he was away.

Frumpy, tell your lad he HAS to contact S0ludo to get this deal back and going. Chucky is very upset that the emails from his secretary have been ignored. That is not good business. As soon as S0ludo hears from Chucky we'll get going on the forms. S0ludo will call the Pr1nz and sooth things over.

Man, I'm not sure what is going on with Dan. His presence at the cafe is sparse, at best.

He insulted my character that is shipping him $1,500, and she demanded an apology. Dan doesn't mince words, does he?

^^No. I assume the passport bit may be right. Who knows what has happened during all his travels?

Tell ARK that S0ludo was instrumental in the capture of the first lawyer that stole your money (I keep forgetting that damn name), and that you have already gotten half of it back, with the remaining half currently being held in escrow to be returned to you after the trial. So of course you believe in Chucky! Chucky has alot of very influential government contacts, which you will need for this business.

Heck, remind him that it was Dan that recommended Chucky to you. Also remind him that when you a bigshot like Chucky sometimes emergencies do arise. Heck Chucky offered to pay for the group to spend the night at the Golden Tul1p, didn't he? He didn't have to do that. Why did Dan leave and not take Chucky up on his generous offer? Chucky is the one that is insulted.

Who wouldn't trust Chucky?

And what I meant in that last paragraph, it was just an idea to get the boys to move together again. Prinz and Mel1nda and simply everyone should finish every email to ARK with a motto-like sentence like "what does Mr. Dan1el think of it? please ask him!" and every email to Dan with "have you discussed this with Mister ARK? He would like to invite you again."

Maybe they will move together.

Of course, I always have the ARK 40th birthday safari plan in mind... Smile

^^ Hell, I'm anxious to know where they spent the night for the two nights they were in Accra. S0ludo offered to reimburse them for their stay at the Golden Tul1p, but somehow I doubt they stayed there. Rooms there run $200 a night and up.

I thought the army was out of the picture. Now they're possibly back in the picture?

Jayhawk, ARK was busy contacting Dan, but not surprisingly, he was unsuccessful.
I take this as one more sign that we should push towards a March 7th biz meet, both because of ARK�s 40th birthday and Dan will have a greater chance to attend the meeting, even if only being an unwanted guest again in the ARK household.
