Here's a little update.

AVG Free detects what's inside. Don't know why ClamAV doesn't, I'll send a sample to their virus-lab in order to get it included.

As expected the file itself isn't "that evil", it's "just" a downloader. But what it'll download I cannot say yet. I'll have a look into that later.

is it probable they just have an infected pc?

what other vlads have we run into that will pose for pic after pic like a stupid lad?

If it were me, i wouldn't click on their site link. Think...it's a vlad we've been baiting. We are hurting their business. Maybe they want to get even. By just screwing up a bunch of baiters machines, or maybe trying to turn them into zombiebots, and working for them. If anyone downloaded the .scr file, you should delete it, and run AV scans and spyware scans on those machines. Maybe even check for rootkits, if you clicked on the scr file. Maybe Boris was using an unknowingly compromised machine, and maybe it was intentional.

Anna also messaged me, I replied. I may just not be thinking in the right direction, but how exactly does it show up as a reply? I could understand if they were just writing 'RE:' or something, but it literally pops up in my Gmail as a reply. I'm confused. Could this possible be a dollar chop?

I am getting answers fro Juiliya still? She is answering all questions I ask her (including a few raunchy ones) that I doubt she would answer in a script? (she hasn't tried anal sex etc) BUT I didn't reply to the other mail. I have a suspicion that it was to check how "loyal" her "Boyfriends" were.

She may also have a new address open but I suspect someone would have found out by now (scammers seldom escape this forum I suspect but some do). She may have taken her scamming to online dating sites? Putting your underwear on your head and that photo being plastered across the internet can have that kinda effect. Funnily my other character I tried yesterday and I got no replies from her but my main is still getting off script answers.

Maybe I should hand my Gmail account over to Wayne and he can see what he gets out of her Very Happy

I'm already partway through a bait with her as a new character. It's the reason I've been fairly quiet since the start of the year. I started a fresh batch with a new email address, new name, new script and new phone number. We're 6 or 7 emails into her script so far, so haven't really got anything to report.
