Has anyone noticed really weird weather trends lately? It's winter here and we're getting highs in the 50's! (10 C). It's been warm for the past week or so and this is our first time reaching 50, we were in the 40's yesterday.

Anyways, I have to get to work, just wanted to ask before I went!

(Working on the corner is really hard sometimes -- this was added so KD has something to comment on Rolling Eyes

I know the feeling Radden (um, not about KD, but the weather...) as it was 5�F here last week, and tomorrow it's supposed to hit almost 70. Like they say, "If you don't like the weather in New England, wait a few minutes".

The lows were in the teens late last week. The highs are supposed to be in the upper 70s, lower 80s this week. Go figure.

We had highs last week in the low 20s. Today it's 70. Unfortunately, the 20s are much closer to the norm here (Ohio). Sad

I'm a Texan. We know to just sit back and wait ten minutes if we don't like the current weather.

It's nice and warm here with scattered showers. I'll take that over freezing rain any day. Smile

I work in a basement Sad

I grew up in the Dakotas where cold is 20 below with a wind chill factor that takes it to 50 below. Now I live in Texas where people put on their full winter gear if it drops below 60 degrees. Laughing

Me, I just run around with a sweater on all winter. I hated that I had to give up me flannel shirts and long johns.

Here in SC, we just had the warmest December I can remember. Then, almost instantly at the start of January, it turned frigid cold, then it went back to being pretty warm the last few days.

Much like Labrea, it was 20 the other day and 70 degrees today. It was rather enjoyable.

Cold weather - what's that Question

Would gladly move to the northern hemisphere right now as it's too hot in Oz for my liking. Mid to high 30's (C) most days where I am. Confused

I think it's my Italian origins coming out, but I hate the cold. Cold is anything below 15C (59F) indoors and 12C outside (54F). My ideal temperature is about 25C (77F, but I'm happy up to 30C.

In my bit of the UK daytime temps are about 10C just a bit too frickin' cold.

Even the song 'Winter Wonderland' makes me fed up - I dream of holidays to hot places where there's no word for snow.

I moved from the frozen tundra of Wi. to snowy new england... went from artic cold to ear deep snow.... im starting to hate shoveing. give me back me 20-30 below temps... at least its to cold to snow

What a bunch of pansies, move to Oklahoma, there is a reason we have some of the best Weather people in the world here.

Also the phrase "If you don't like the weather, wait one minute." was originally about Oklahoma, and said by the Oklahoman Comedian Will Rogers.

Thats what we used to say in Indiana...If you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes. Its funny how quick the weather can change in the midwest!
