I am Themba Fassie (Mr.), the Chief Auditor of the First
National Bank(FNB) Gauteng Branch. I got your contact address
from the Trade and Exhibition Centre here in Johannesburg and

from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which crashed into the Pacific
Ocean not far from Los Angeles on January 31st 2000,
including his wife and his only daughter (Thelma Thompson,

After my further investigation I also discovered that Late Mr.
Morris Thompson's next of kin was his daughter who died with
him. The account has no other beneficiary and my investigation
proves to me as well that his company does not know anything
about this account and the account.Since then, no other person
knows about this account, and the amount involved is US$32
Million (THIRTY TWO MILLION UNITED STATE DOLLARS). I
would like to first transfer US$12 million into your overseas
account as a foreigner because Mr. Morris Thompson was a
foreigner then later I will transfer the remaining US$20 million
before joining you in person for disbursement and investment
opportunity which you will be an asset to it. I am only
contacting you because of your foreign status as this money
cannot be approved to a local bank here, but can be approved
to any foreign account because the money is in a foreign
currency (US dollars) and former owner of the account, Mr.
Morris Thompson was a foreigner.

Because of the need to involve a foreign account, I need your
full co-operation to make this work fine because the management
is ready to approve the payment to whoever has the correct
information to this account, of which I will give you later, if
you are able to handle such amount in strict confidence and
trust according to my instruction and advice for our mutual

will destroy all the documents of the transaction immediately

Thank you for your prompt response to my mail. However, the transaction that I proposed to you is legitimate and will not take us more than 7 working days from now to be accomplished if you listen to my instructions, because I have already worked out the modalities for the smooth transfer of the fund into the bank account that you will nominate for this purpose. I received your mail with gratitude and must thank you for accepting to assist me in achieving this goal.

Please be informed that everything would be done according to the laws of the land so that there won't be any breach of the law. Besides the services of a qualified lawyer would be required to represent you in this regards. Expectations are high and I would not want any disappointments along the line, as I too would not disappoint you either. You must understand that in this transaction, we are working as a team and collectively as partners because the benefits of this transaction would be shared accordingly between us as I will be coming over to your country immediately the funds have been transferred to your account.

I on my part would like to assure you that you will have no regret doing this transaction with me if you will follow my instructions and respond to issues quickly as they come. I have worked out every detail concerning this transaction and would inform you of the roles you will play and how to play it to avoid any mistake. Most importantly, don't forget that I am the Chief Auditor and will use my position to ensure that the fund is released to you within a couple of days.

What I want to do here is to use my position as the Chief Auditor of the FNB to present you to the Bank as the next of kin, and further apply that his entitlement be transferred to you through the said legal processes and I am also going to put your name on the system as the nearest living relative/next of kin of the late deceased, so, your name will appears on the system as the nearest living relative/next of kin of the late deceased and when the Fund Release Committee meets, they will find out that the deceased included your name as his next of kin. We shall start by sending a formal application to this effect. I will copy you with the text of the said claim and transfer application to this effect as soon as I receive your response.

Thereafter, the Bank will request of you the relevant back up document (Investment Deposit Certificate) to your claim and application according to the demand of our probate law on transfer of inheritance. I shall send you copy of the above document I have with me as soon as I get your response. Otherwise, we will have to facilitate our acquisition of any other document or documents demanded outside my possession with the help of the Lawyer we shall hire. Once we have provided the Bank with their demands, they would now be under legal obligation to transfer the funds to an account you will nominate for this purpose.

As we proceed, the processes and of this transaction will become clearer to you. Be assured that the procedures to be adopted in effecting the transfer will be official and legal which will protect us from any breach of the law now and in great future. This transaction is 100% risk free as you are not subjecting yourself to any risk or harm now and after the transaction has been concluded. You shall have 35% of the total funds, 55% my investment purpose and the remaining 10% will be for expenses that would be incurred by both parties.

Don't feel bad... it took me a while to figure out what NoK meant, too. (The fact that all the NoK letters in the Surplus Letters Forum were labeled as such tipped me off).
