My mate forwarded this one on to me to play with, it's the standard, here is a cheque for $750,000 as compensation, to say thank you for your past efforts in getting the funds blah blah blah.

I only want to get a scan of the cheque so I can cash it and run with the money, this will be a very short bait Very Happy

, he replied to my email asking for him to send me the cheque:

I didn't "choose" Fedex, it was the only choice, there were no other options, so it was not a "choice"!

Secondly, before I send you any money for shipping the check to me, I want to see a scan of the check made out in my name, once I have seen that I will proceed to Western Union, but not until.

That is complete rubbish, simply open the package, take the check out, scan and email it to me, replace the check in the package, and then I will send you the $244 to ship it to me.

Please be aware that I will not be going to Western Union until I receive the scan of the check made out to my name, because there are many scams on the internet, and I know that a scammer would not be able
to show me a scan of the check, so if you can't show me a scan, you must be a scammer, I am sure you will prove me wrong and provide the requested scan.

Until I have the check scan, you will not receive a penny from me.

Yeah, I might say that in a couple of emails time, but for now, I sent him this:

Well the certificate is signed by the Beneficiary, which is somewhere between confusing and metaphysically impossible

As for the cheque - that is one of the rubbishest attempts I've seen - well scored!

Brilliant work SP. Your mugu will definitely write back, and I can't wait to see the explanation of how you still need to make that payment! I absolutely love it when the mugu goes on about how "the security company cannot open the boxies" until you send them those dollars.
