Monica Morgan – Nigerian Scammer [email protected] and [email protected] and from Google phrase search: [email protected]

I gave away $2,034 (including wiring fees) to this criminal. My bad.

(Although certainly far less than I might typically spend on an unprofitable weekend in Las Vegas… at least in “Lost Wages” I might have a chance to win occasionally. lol) Very Happy

My hope is that adding the information that I have on this site will somehow serve to at least inconvenience this gang of thieves (please see list of confederates below) and might even spare someone else the pain and expense of being taken in by these crooks. Just hoping to "poison the well" a bit...

I have forwarded this information to the EFCC and encourage others to do the same. Their e-mail: [email protected]

Brief Summary: She contacted me through the “Lava Life Prime” website claiming to have been raped by her uncle (Nigerian Official) with whom she was living after her mother had died (cancer) – father had died in car accident 13 years earlier. Was taken in by “pastor” to local “church” (Winners Chapel) and wanted to start new life in a new country.

Modus Operandi: Follows the “Scammer’s Textbook” script:

1. Contacted 20+ year older widower (me) from dating website – quickly removing her posting and suggesting I do the same. Note – her posting originally claimed she was from South Africa – yet she speaks without “S.A. English” accent typically associated with her “home” area but more like a native West African.
2. Provided her e-mail address in her first message (including “cute” moniker for which she had an inadequate explanation – subsequently began using a similar second e-mail address – also, cryptically explained).
3. Very poor English for supposed “nursing school graduate” – including “am” for “I am”, “severally” for “several”, etc., etc.
4. Ignored a large percentage of my questions (I began compiling a list) – instead focused early on professing her “love” and desire to “bear my childs”, blah, blah, blah…
5. Virtually all e-mails (95%+) were 2 to 3 paragraphs in length with a predicable “template” feel to them. (I’m missing you so much – Can’t wait until we’re together – Send $$$, Etc., Etc.) Gave me pet name “Lovey” (probably more convenient for mass marketing purposes than remembering all of her victims’ real names). In fact, sent identical messages 6 months apart!
6. Patiently waited (2 months) to finally send the “Money Message” – claiming to want $1,200 for a laptop to send me “private pictures” and webcams, etc. (The “church’s” computer from which she was sending messages had suddenly stopped working.)
7. Followed that up with request for $1,100 for satellite link… (never happened – nor the $70 per month fee).
8. Has requested money for “necessaries” (bras & panties, etc.), vitamins and most recently…
9. TWO hospital stays – one for an appendectomy ($680) and, less than a month later, for a kidney transplant ($960). Poor Girl! Crying or Very sad

10. Finally, a request for visa & passport and airfare money after being “ripped off” by the unscrupulous “Lucky Travel Agency” (see confederates list) who had provided the “same day service” very poorly photoshopped visa she sent to me with her ticket money request.

4. LUCKY TRAVEL AGENCY – COLLINS IGBOKWE Purveyors of fraudulent documents (Note – ISP information below is VERY similar to my “Sweetheart’s”. What a surprise!)

Sorry you lost so much money to a scammer. I see you've taken the time to post up the details on other sites too, which is a good thing. The more information posted on a scammer the better. Can I ask that people not all jump in at once on this one. If we're going to bait "her", then we don't want to spook the scammer into dropping the account.

I'm glad you jumped on this Wayne! MrAllDay, your scammer will soon know many months of wasted time, efforts, energies, hopes and desires . . . plus a lot of public humiliation if Wayne gets his hooks in!

I am also very sorry to hear of your loss. Romance scamming is the worst and there are even more men doing this to women. Very likely your 'cutie' was a man behind the email curtain, too.

If you want revenge, join us here and let the eaters show you how to do it safely. Don't try to tackle it on your own without at least the basics from these guys here.

Also, the next emails you are likely to get will be from someone official sounding who will offer you recovery and prosecution services. DON'T fall for it. It's the follow up scam.

Go get this criminals!

Tossing away a few bucks is certainly far from the worst part of this for me (and I suspect for most of my fellow "Mugus").

It's been an education - I will say that.

Among other things... I've learned that baiting your own scammer is a very bad idea. I'll leave that in your obviously very capable hands.

At this point, I am continuning on for just a bit to see if I can't extract another physical address for these crooks. I have locals in Lagos checking out the addresses they've provided - and, if what I suspect is true, intend to let them know I can't send their "package" to them unless I have a better address with which to work.

I will, of course - keep you posted.

Here's a little bit of good news - We're getting our documents signed today on that $15.8 million transaction I mentioned to you during our chat. Once it funds - my partner and I will split our 85 bps (basis points) commission - around $67,000 each.
