Thanks for the picture Dr. X, which one is me?

I also want to add to this conversation that women have to do more shopping that is not for themselves. I have to clothe the entire family, make sure my kids have shoes that fit, buy birthday gifts for friends and relatives, etc. My husband's purchases are usually only for himself. We're FORCED to do more shopping.

My ex did alot of shopping for himself instead of helping with bills when he had the rare job. Hot topic, dope dealer.. Stuff like that. Rolling Eyes

and. . . it's my staple gun, not my husband's. AND, I bought it with my OWN money! Wink

You guys are sure possessive of your money. Some of us women are financially capable and independent, you know.

Radden, did you notice that the rest of the guys tactfully backed out of the female bashing in this thread? Wink

I wasn't offended because I assumed you were intentionally offensive, not just a pig headed male.
That said, if Weasel is offended, I think you owe her an apology.

Edit to add: Radden, I don't think it's considered "psycho" to be offended by something that was intentionally offensive. Your comment about that is more rude than your joking sexism.

Even though I honestly wouldn�t have had to add anything here anyways. It is one thing to joke about stereotypes (which i like to do) but another thing to really think these stereotypes are real (that�s something I don�t do).

1. Weas was offended by the first posts as well, see her posts earlier in the thread
2. There is a difference between joking and making sure people understand you are joking and posting in a sarcastic manner that can not be distinguished from a serious post.
3. Drunk people should not post. Does that sound like sensible advice in any way?

Radden, considering that we are all supposed to be colleagues--if not friends--on this board, if your joking got out of hand--whether it was your doing or not, I think making it clear that you did NOT mean to offend any of our women friends would be a good thing to do.

I've kidded many of the women here (just ask Persie!) but I've ALWAYS made sure that they knew me well enough to know that I AM kidding, because the truth of the matter is that women happen to be some of my closest friends.
