I think I'd dispute that - they look pretty good when they have skilful players around them (as they do at club level) so they can run in straight lines like maniacs for 90 minutes to some effect.
But none of them can orchestrate or control a game - they lack the skill, vision, and, yes, the intelligence, and so in the national team, where they don't have competent ball-players assisting them, they cannot deliver.
They looked very poor in comparison with Luka Modric of Croatia, all 5ft 8in of him, who, as one English journalist says: "Nobody in the British Isles can play football like Modric."
Gonna be a long hard road to 2010, no matter who the manager is...  |

I think you can rule Rally Hednnap out of the equation for the job.   Although making love to his daughter-in-law is very much like making love to a beautiful woman, but discussing Liverpool's poor performance in Europe may very well hinder my performance.  |
