Okay so i had a few brain farts and here is a more understandable response

This is very odd - a lad after 7 months with no contact, responds to me with "hi remember who I am?" - He was pulling his typical Gold dust scam back in April.

I refused to talk utill I get a Assay with ofical government stamps, etc sent to me by postal mail and a sample.

Now i am in "agreement" that I want his 200kg of gold for $35,000 in cash. I told him i couldnt screw him like that and give him $85,000.

He seems happy to send me postal an assay of the gold now!

Reason #473 why you don't tell a lad that he has been baited. I had the same thing happen to me with Dan (Derr1k P0tter thread). Seven months of silence, then right back at it.

The best part about lads that come back is that they seem to have no knowledge of the previous bait. I was able to run the same scammer (or group) through the exact same bait twice. Just copy/pasted my old replies to get a couple trips to Money Gram and a wasted phone call.

This lad hasnt forgotten the last bait.. Its like a friend I had that was narcoleptic and then dozed off during a converstation for 15-20 mins and then wake up up in mid sentance..

I am thinking he was "Away" for 7 months

Yeah VP and myself baited a laddie called Jimbo for quite a few months. He came soooo close to getting a big pay day, but it always proved to be just frustratingly elusive.

Every month or so he still Emails me, just to make sure that I am still there, that my business is prospering and that my granny is doing ok.

He never tries to scam me, but its as though he is just keeping tabs on me... Laughing

I was baiting one between March and July 2006, in my persona, and it ended unhappily when Eliza was arrested in London and lost just about everything (money, house, career, boyfriend) - and the Lad seemed about to run a cheque scam on her, but it failed to eventuate.

Then, six months later, the Lad returns, with an offer for Eliza to travel to Dubai... The odd thing about this deal was that there seemed to be two Lads involved in this second phae, based on variations in writing styles; I'm convinced that the original Lad must have dumped it on some other, junior Lads.
