I just got a job offer in response to a Craig's List ad I placed to phish for work-at-home check scams. The lad sent the usual "agent" story, and suggested I look at his company's website. I did. The professional appearance doesn't go very far, especially when you go to the links at the bottom.

That's not the lads site, that is a parked domain page, either the site has been killed already and the hosts have put that parked page with advert links on it, or the lad has just left the parked page up and has not made a site yet, but if he has sent you there, that would suggest it has been killed, the lad can't know that yet, or is using someone elses scam format with that site url in the email and he hasn't checked it recently. |

I figured someone tampered with it, but it does still have references to fabrics, which is what he alleges he sells. In any event I sure didn't advise him that I'd checked the site and found it squirrelly. I simply took the job, and I hope he keeps sending that site out in his spam so real victims will be turned off.  |
