How to tell a romance Lad

Notice the full stops and the space (lack of) at the end of each sentence.a very good sign,the use of bcos and ok are also a good indication.ok as well as i instaed of I although we are all guilty of that from time to time

Remain blessed is another giveaway, and the line about race or coulour does not matter, I see that lots from them.

Take a look at the words in bold italics, a few common hints you could look for

Also the use of Yahoo, while not conclusive it is often a good sign, the Vlads prefer [email protected]

Thanks MG for the lesson on Lads/Vlad romance. I don't think I'm quite ready to bait as a male character though. I thought I'd do likewise for the ladies here and share my experience with MySpace (which is how I got started with them). Most of their contact letters start with Hello cute or hello pretty. They're usually a contractor or in construction or a business man. They always reassure you they're honest. They usually have a kid to tug at your maternal heartstrings. The use the phrase 'I will like' a lot. Their grammar and English is almost always bad. I am a former English teacher and I do know American males generally don't give much consideration to spelling and grammar but it is never as bad a lads.

These are the sloppy or noobie lads that I don't think many women would fall for, so I haven't messed with hardly any of them. Maybe one in 10 has such a good intro letter it's hard to tell. Those I email and ask for more information. Then they always respond by saying let's chat and I know but just to make sure, I then get their IP address from the email and check it to be certain. It's always been somewhere in Africa. I've never mis-guessed one yet.

Just to have some fun as well as try to see what I can get away with early in a bait, I have replied to my Vlads email.

If this scam didn't work they wouldn't be doing it Crying or Very sad

As dumb as this Vlad may seem, a person who is genuinely replying may not be any wiser, no she is not answering questions from me, but not everyone realises when they are desperate for love.

It is simply a script that has probably worked before and they are trying it again, if they lose you there is little time invested in you so it is not much of an inconvenience for them.

Eventually however they do run out of script and if your still in there, they think they're in with a chance, that's when it gets fun.

As Harrya suggested, there are plenty more lads and vlads in this sea.

The only decision is do you go Vlad or Lad. The before mentioned site has a good selection to choose from, it seems the members are baiters or scammers, unfortunately we are outnumbered.

If this bait shows nothing else, its "dont be too concerned with what you write early on"

Pick out an unusual part of the emails. for me I chose this.

Follow the result and it will take you here

Again I have made bold the lad like sections, they have a huge problem with paste and present tense.

This one looks like it may end up being something other than a romance scam if you allow it to go that way, perhaps an inheritance or box of money somewhere.

These are often the best ones to bait as you get to have a little more choice in what you do with them. Wink

It came complete with a few photos that are a little harder to upload at photobucket so i didn't bother, you can get them yourself if you want them. They showed a black girl, little overweight with high beam, girl next door pictures which is a little unusual, this scammer may (and I do stress may)actually have access to the girl in the photos.

For the test:
Flour wheaten, Russian. Milk. Salt. Eggs.
Mincemeat:
30 % of a beef, 40 % of mutton, 30 % of pork.
From the test to unroll the big pancake. By means of a glass from a pancake to do circles.
In circles to roll up forcemeat. To cook up to readiness.

Only problem now is I will need to actually pay a little more attention to what I recieve and send.

I actually think I will like it, it just looks like meat patties with 3 meats.

Of course now I need to know what to serve with it and what sauce it should be made with.

We all know after reading my emails above that the translation service sucks but unfortunately I cant tell them that without teaching the scammer (any noobs following this should note, regardless of how obvious a mistake is we dont tell the scammer about it, a real victim may need every clue they can get in order to not be scammed). I have a few ideas as to where to go but usually the fee is too small with translation scams to get the scammer to do too much.

I wonder how much the bank manager has on at the moment.
