Things have obviously changed since I left the place (UK) more than 15 years ago. Only the other day, I got a letter assuring me that my claim was being processed in the federal high court of justice here in london.

The postcode is real and there is a real establishment there called "Presidential House" (a rather forlorn apartment/hotel which is probably home to many heads of state).

I think the referrals to "presidents" and "presidency" are to the company's president - not a UK president or presidency. He just couldn't spell CEO or Chairman.

Now I've pointed this out, I feel that this is obviously genuine and anyone who wants to get rich should take up this generous offer.

I have heard that President Brown enjoys telling jokes about football. Could you tell me one of his jokes? You know, I would very much like to meet President Brown. Do you think you could arrange for tea some time?

I also wonder if you have ever been to meet the Empress Elizabeth or her son, the Raja Charles? It would be wonderful to visit them at Buckleham Place. We might want to send Senator Philip out on a holiday because he is a real bore, I hear tell.

Now, let's talk about payment, shall we? I decline to use the Diplomatic Courier Service. That would never work because no one is at home at my dominated address during the day. Besides my neighbors might get suspicious if they saw a Diplomat hanging around. That would never do. No, as I see it, Mr. Feltonthe, we have two options.

1. I would be happy to come to your address at No. 12 Presidential Villa, Street B, London, since I myself live in London. I presume the Presidential Villa is on Downing Street, so I am a bit confused as to where Street B is. But I shall consult my A-Z.

2. Alternatively, you could simply post the check to me. The Royal Mail service is quite good, the recent strike notwithstanding. This way no one else will know about my payment.

I hope to hear from you soon and do give my best to President Brown.
